A statutory register, sometimes called statutory books is a register with divided sections for maintaining a company’s statutory records. It is a legal requirement for all limited companies to maintain a register. It is also very useful for the directors and the accountants of the company to be able to see at a glance the profile of directors and shareholders, keep a record of minutes of the meetings, issue share certificates, keep a record of any mortgages or debentures.

Share Certificate Book

It is a requirement of Companies Act 2006 that each shareholder should be given a share certificate as evidence of his/her membership of the company.

Cost: £10 + vat inclusive of delivery by 1st class mail.

Product Details:

This red colured A4 booklet has approximately 24 certificates that are easily detached along a perforated strip. Each share certificate has a useful counterfoil that acts as a record of the share certificate being issued. Simply complete the certificate with the below given details.

  • Company Name
  • Certificate number (chronologically numbered)
  • Number of shares held,
  • Shareholders Name and Address
  • Date of issue

Arrange for the director and secretary (if appointed) to sign the certificate. Remove the certificate and give it to the shareholder, retaining the counterfoil in the book.
