About Stock Transfer Form

A stock transfer form, also known as a share transfer form is a legal document to record details of share transfer from one shareholder to another for a limited company.

Our stock transfer form is suitable for private and public limited companies incorporated in England, Wales and Scotland and includes the recent amendments made in the stamp duty by the Chancellor of Exchequer. These changes came into effect for instruments executed on or after 13 March 2008.

The stock transfer form should be stamped by the Inland Revenue prior to being lodged with the Company for registration. There are a number of transactions falling within an exempt category. These are discussed in the guidance notes that come the stock transfer form.
